Muhammad: The Last Prophet is a good cartoon movie about the rise of Islamic religion to the world and how does this great religion begin.

ZDF: Islam and the West is a good Documentary made by the German Channel ZDF.

First part Gives a journey on the beginings and aspects of Islam. While the second part Talks about the contrbutions of the Islamic world and its relation with the West.

     During the Israeli attack on Gaza in 2008, 1,300 Palestinians died and 4,000 homes were destroyed. Less visible was the devastating impact on the children of Gaza, whose family members were killed and their homes reduced to rubble. This film gives some idea of what they endured and how they will grow up — and there is nothing here to offer any hope for the future. The children play war games and pretend to torture one another. Nightmares are common. The blockade means that their families are unable to rebuild their homes or get medical treatment abroad.

 

Inside Islam: is a very good documentary made by History channel that give good fast introduction to Islamic religion from its beginning till nowadays.It's suitable for people who explore Islam for the first time and know little about it.

Inside Mecca is a nice National Geographic documentary about the journey of three Muslims from three contries: one from Malaysia, one from the United States and one from South Africa, describing their experiences before and during the Hajj (pilgrimage).

A Road to Mecca The Journey of Muhammad Assad: is a good documentary about Leopold Weiss or Muhammad Assad , an Austrian Jewish man converted to Islam and become from the greatest figures in the modern Islamic  history.
